A machine can produce a thousand nails an hour. We deliberately choose a different pace: at L'Adele, every set of press-on nails is built up and painted by hand. That is slower and more expensive — and exactly why our sets look and feel the way they do. In this article we explain what that handwork involves, and what you get back from it on your own hands.
Layer by layer, by skilled hands
Every set is created in layers: base, colour, effect and finish are applied one by one by nail stylists with years of experience. We train our team continuously, so every new design comes out sharper and more refined. The result: no two sets are exactly alike. In mass production that would be a flaw — in handwork it is proof that someone worked on your set with real attention.
No compromises on materials
Handwork deserves good materials. We work exclusively with high-quality soft gel: light and flexible, so the nail feels like your own after a few hours, with a shine you would otherwise only get at the salon. Cheaper materials look the same in a webshop photo — you only notice the difference once you wear them. That is exactly why we refuse to compromise on this.
What you notice
Craftsmanship is not a sales pitch when you can check it. You will see this in every set:
- Details that are right: crisp lines, deep colour layers and effects — like the streak of light in our cat eye designs — that can only be made this way by hand.
- Reusable: thanks to the quality of the gel, a set lasts several wears with careful use. With fresh glue tabs you simply wear it again.
- Kind to your own nails: no drill, no UV lamp. Applying takes ten minutes, removing takes three — with warm water, without damage.
