You are done in under ten minutes, with no drying time. Keep your hands out of water for the first 2 to 4 hours so the tabs can bond. With the adhesive tabs included, a set stays on for 1 to 2 weeks, about 10 days on average, depending on your work and how often your hands are in water. Soft gel is flexible, so you can file them or paint over them, something thin plastic nails rarely handle well.
