Description

Beginnerset Reflected is our set for getting started with press-on nails: a nude shade with a mirror-like chrome shine, with 30 nails in sizes S, M and L in one box. Not sure of your size yet, or need a different size on each hand? Start here: you can try them on at your own pace and you will always have spares left over.

What's in the box

Like all our sets, these press-on nails are made by hand in the L'Adele studio.

Choose your shape, try your size

You choose one shape: Round, Oval Short, Square Short or Oval Long, from short to long. You get sizes S, M and L, so there is nothing you need to know in advance. Measure the widest part of your nail and hold the three sizes against it; if you are in doubt, take the larger one, as the sides file down easily. Handy if each hand needs a different size. Size XS is not included in this set; you will find it with our single colour sets.

Applying and wearing

Clean, fit, stick on an adhesive tab and press each nail firmly for 10 seconds: they are on in a few minutes, with no lamp and no drying time. Keep your hands out of water for the first 2 to 4 hours so the tabs can bond. With the adhesive tabs included, they stay on for 1 to 2 weeks, about 10 days on average, and they come off just as easily. Soft gel is sturdier and more flexible than the fake nails you find on the shelf, so you can file them, paint over them and wear the same set 3 to 5 times with fresh tabs. Make sure your nails are dry and free of oil before you start; that makes the biggest difference. First time? Our How it works page takes you through it step by step.

You will see the delivery time and shipping costs for your country at checkout. If the size still isn't right, you can exchange an unused set for the right size within 14 days through our returns portal: you pay for the return and we send your new size free of charge.

  1. Attach the press-on

    Hold it at a 45-degree angle and line it up with the adhesive tab. Press it onto the tab, slide it towards your cuticle and then press it down.

  2. Press firmly
    Press firmly

    From the centre towards the edges, so air bubbles disappear and the bond is strong.

  3. Avoid water for 2 to 4 hours
    Avoid water for 2 to 4 hours

    This gives the adhesive time to bond properly and keeps your nails on longest. Washing your hands is fine, just put off that long bath for a while.

Shipping & Returns

We ship worldwide from the Netherlands. In the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Austria and the United Kingdom your set arrives within 1 to 3 working days; in Italy, Spain and Ireland within 3 to 5 working days; everywhere else within about 7 working days. Shipping is free on orders of €50 or more; below that it's €4.95. Outside the EU we always ship DDP: all import duties and taxes are taken care of by us, so you never pay anything on delivery.

You have 14 days after delivery to change your mind. You can exchange an unused set for the right size within 14 days. Returns cost €4.95 and we send the new size free of charge. Start an exchange or return in our returns portal. You can do this as long as the set is unworn and complete (original packaging, adhesive tabs, nail file, cuticle pusher and alcohol wipes).
