Press-on nails are pre-shaped, pre-painted nails that you stick onto your own nails with adhesive tabs. At L'Adele every set is made by hand in soft gel, by nail stylists with years of experience. The result is a manicure that's indistinguishable from salon work, only it takes ten minutes and needs no appointment.
What makes handmade different?
In mass production the polish is sprayed on in a single layer. You can tell: flat colour, hard edges, a plastic look. Our sets are built up and finished nail by nail. On a cat eye design, that means the magnet is drawn by hand across the wet polish so the streak of light falls exactly right. No two sets are exactly the same, and that's the point.
Reusable, not disposable
A set isn't for one evening. Remove it properly with warm water and store it in its box, and you'll wear the same set again and again. All you need is fresh adhesive tabs; every set includes 150, enough for many wears.
Four shapes, every size
Every design comes in Round, Square Short, Oval Short and Oval Long. Round and Square Short are the most practical for everyday wear; the oval shapes make your fingers look longer. Applying and removing
Applying takes ten minutes: clean, push back the cuticles, choose the size, stick on the adhesive tab and press each nail down firmly for fifteen to thirty seconds. For the first two to four hours, avoid long contact with water. Removing them is just as easy: soak for a few minutes in warm water and the nails come away almost by themselves. Shipping and returns
We ship from Hoofddorp in the Netherlands to almost the whole world: within the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Austria and the United Kingdom that's usually 1 to 3 working days, to Italy, Spain and Ireland 3 to 5 working days, and to the rest of the world around 7 working days. Outside the EU, all import duties and taxes are always taken care of by us; you never pay anything on delivery. If the size isn't right, we swap an unused set for the right size within 14 days; you only pay the cost of sending it back to us.
