How it works

Wash and dry your hands

Use soap and dry with a paper towel, so all oil disappears from your nails.

Gently push them back and trim them if needed.

No buffing needed

You don't need to roughen or file your own nails. Clean nails, cuticles pushed back and a wipe to remove the oil in the next step are all it takes for a good bond.

Do your nails still come loose quickly? Then take the shine off very lightly with the soft side of the file, without scrubbing. The logo side of the buffer is only for shortening nails.

Clean your nails and the inside of the press-ons with the cleansing wipe provided.

Choose the right tab size

Place the glue tab on your nail, leaving about 1 mm of space to your cuticle.

Press the tab down firmly

Especially at the edges. Then pinch the top and peel off the protective paper.

Tip: tweezers make this a lot easier.

Attach the press-on

Hold it at a 45-degree angle and line it up with the glue. Press it onto the glue, slide it towards your cuticle and then press it down.

From the centre towards the edges, so air bubbles disappear and the bond is strong.

Avoid water for 2 to 4 hours

This lets the glue cure properly and keeps your nails on longest. Washing your hands is fine, just postpone that long bath.

Plaknagels aanbrengen en verwijderen

Plaknagels aanbrengen kost tien minuten. Was je handen, duw je nagelriemen zachtjes terug en ontvet je nagels met een alcoholpad. Opruwen of vijlen is niet nodig: schoon en vetvrij is genoeg voor een goede hechting. Druk daarna een plaktab glad op je eigen nagel, zet de plaknagel erop en druk hem vijftien tot dertig seconden stevig aan. Vermijd de eerste twee tot vier uur langdurig contact met water. Met de plaktabs blijft een set een tot twee weken zitten, gemiddeld zo'n tien dagen.

Verwijderen doe je door je handen een paar minuten in warm water te weken en de nagel aan de zijkant op te tillen met het bokkenpootje. Bewaar de set in het doosje, dan draag je hem drie tot vijf keer. Alle stappen uitgebreid lees je in plaknagels aanbrengen in 5 stappen en plaknagels verwijderen zonder schade. Laten je nagels toch snel los, haal dan alleen heel licht de glans eraf met de zachte kant van de vijl, zonder te schuren. Wil je weten waar het verder aan kan liggen, dan staat dat in de tien beginnersfouten.
