How it works

Everything you need to know about applying, removing and reusing your L'Adele nails. You'll find the same guide on the leaflet in your parcel.

Wash and dry your hands

Use soap and dry with a paper towel, so all oil disappears from your nails.

Prepare your cuticles

Gently push them back and trim them if needed.

No roughening needed

You don't need to roughen or file your own nails. Clean nails, cuticles pushed back and cleaning in the next step are all it takes for a good bond.

Clean everything

Clean your nails and the inside of the press-ons with the cleaning pad provided.

Choose the right tab size

Place the adhesive tab on your nail, leaving about 1 mm of space to your cuticle.

Press the tab down firmly

Especially at the edges. Then pinch the top and peel off the protective paper.

Tip: tweezers make this a lot easier.

Attach the press-on

Hold it at a 45-degree angle and line it up with the adhesive tab. Press it onto the tab, slide it towards your cuticle and then press it down.

Press firmly

From the centre towards the edges, so air bubbles disappear and the bond is strong.

Avoid water for 2 to 4 hours

This gives the adhesive time to bond properly and keeps your nails on longest. Washing your hands is fine, just put off that long bath for a while.

Applying and removing press-on nails

Applying press-on nails takes ten minutes. Wash your hands, gently push back your cuticles and clean your nails with a cleaning pad. There's no need to roughen or file them: clean and oil-free is enough for a good hold. Then press an adhesive tab flat onto your own nail, place the press-on nail on top and press each nail down firmly for 10 seconds. Avoid long contact with water for the first two to four hours. With the adhesive tabs, a set stays on for one to two weeks, about ten days on average.

To remove them, soak your hands in warm water for a few minutes and lift the nail at the side with the cuticle pusher. Store the set in its box and you can wear it 3 to 5 times with fresh adhesive tabs.
